OHIO RESIDENTIAL AND SMALL COMMERCIAL SANITARY SYSTEMS

On January 1st, 2007, Ohio Department of Health (ODH) modified the rules governing residential and small flows onsite sanitary systems in the State of Ohio.  Later that year (July 2007) the rules were rescinded, however many Ohio counties adopted parts of the modified rules.   Some of the links below will give you some general information depending upon what situation you are in.  Please note that this information only applies if your property does not have access to municipal sewer services.
